Cultural Geography Religion

Today in class we started to talk about cultural geography. Cultural geography is the study of cultural products and norms. What we learned today were the religions on the top of the list. There are 5 that we learned so far the firs which means the most populous is Christianity which is my religion of which there are 2.2 billion other people. There are many denominations of Christianity. There is Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Protestant and a lot of other smaller ones. The largest denomination is protestant. Three religions that we got to were Christianity which I went over slightly, Islam which has 1.5 billion people practicing it and this is actually growing much faster than Christianity and will most likely be the most populous religion in the world this is because this is in a lot of developing nations who are having a lot of babies unlike in America, and finally we got into Hinduism a bit they have 1.1 billion people practicing it.
